Our goal should be to be more like Christ everyday. To consistently be moving in His direction (Matthew 16:24). If we allow our walk with Him to become stagnant, we become as things that dry rot and crumble when the pressure is on.
The Holy Spirit will guide your steps and grace, love and mercy will abound and be ever present. This is the light that will lead others to Him.
For God, who said, "Let light shine out of darkness," made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ. ~ 2 Corinthians 4:6
