INSECURITY, INSENSIBILITY, AND INSTABILITY
Insecurity, Insensibility, and Instability are the subjects of this lesson; however before we look into the Scriptures for our Father's insight let us better understand what the definitions of these 3 words are (for they are all states of weakness in which we make ourselves more easy targets for Satan to lay hold on us with his chains of bondage!)
INSECURITY- a state of anxiety about earthly needs
Ask yourselves the following questions:
1.Have I ever worried about my needs being met?
2.Have I leaned on myself or other people for support?
INSENSIBILITY- deadness of spiritual life
Ask yourselves the following questions:
1.Have I ever ignored my Father in Heaven?
2.Have I chosen to remain ignorant about Father's plan and purpose?
INSTABILITY- lack of firmness of convictions
Ask yourselves the following questions:
1.Have I ever allowed man's traditions to bring confusion into my worship?
2.Have I chosen to be spiritually a reed in the wind?
Now let us turn to the Scriptures to see what our Father has told us about these particular items and remember this...one is as important as the other. Our Christianity must be tightly linked together without holes in it! You can't have security without stability and can't have either of those with out sensibility! I have stated many times over that “COMMON SENSE” is one of the greater gifts of our Father.
